Alan strives to create long-lasting success for all the families he serves. Starting his career with Respite Works as a Direct Support Professional while getting his undergraduate degree, Alan had little experience with individuals and families impacted by autism or other developmental disabilities. He was eager to learn new skills, and over the last seven years, he has benefitted from the company’s extensive on-site training and 1:1 mentorship opportunities. He’s really grown with the organization and is excited to continue his professional journey.

In 2021, Alan earned his Master of Public Administration degree – with an emphasis in leadership and employee relations. Additionally, he has taken relevant coursework in business management and human resource management. As a Department Manager for Respite Works in our Laguna Hills office, Alan now has a supervisory role and is passionate about driving continuous improvement across all services that the Respite Works Laguna Hills staff provide.

Alan enjoys spending time with his wife, newborn daughter, and friends. His favorite hobby is camping, and he’s visited every national park in California.
