Cidnie Warren

Cidnie Warren, MA, BCBA

Director of Clinical Services
California Psychcare

“We have one opportunity to make our lives meaningful. There are no reset buttons or do-overs. I believe we are here to serve others more than we are here to serve ourselves.”

Cidnie Warren sees a generation of children with developmental disabilities who will come of age in society that has no a “place” for them. She enjoys the opportunity to educate our communities and prepare our people to be productive citizens, and feels blessed to share a tiny piece of the lives of each family she serves. Cidnie sees her work as a glimmer of hope for families that, more often than not, have no hope left.

Having a mother who worked in special education, Cidnie spent a lot of time with children with disabilities as she grew up. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in sociology and Pan African studies from California State University Northridge.  She had the opportunity to work with students with moderate to severe behavioral and mental health challenges in the public school system, but it wasn’t until she worked with autistic kids as a Behavior Interventionist at California Psychcare, that she discovered her true path.  That discovery set her on her journey to complete her master’s degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) from National University and to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She feels blessed that she was able to work closely with California Psychcare’s founder, Dr. Ali Sadeghi.

Cidnie is living her dream of providing a voice for marginalized groups in our society.

Following her mother’s lead, she is passionate about social justice and equality—a passion that fuels her work ethic and capacity to serve families.
