Dennis Kogod
Executive Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
“I didn’t anticipate returning to the work place. Now that I am here at 360 Behavioral Health, I feel like I’ve spent my whole career in healthcare resting myself to lead this exceptional organization.”
I have a deeply-rooted commitment to overseeing healthcare organizations that deliver the highest quality patient care and clinical outcomes. My 20+ years of healthcare delivery experience includes running the operations of the second-largest kidney care organization in the world. I also serviced as the president and chief operating officer of a globally capitated population health organization, providing the full continuum of care to over 1.5 million patients daily.
I retired in November 2016, but after learning about the incredible work 360 Behavioral Health was providing in this healthcare space, I decided this was the right opportunity to step out of retirement and lead this organization.
In March 2018, I immediately went to work developing a vision and strategy – my intention was to profoundly change the care model in both behavioral and mental healthcare. Today, I’m championing the charge to provide “comprehensive, compassionate care for life” for those special kids and adults we have the honor of serving each day.
Not-for-profit organizations are a big part of my adult life, and so I dedicate my time in these areas as well. I’ve spent more than 13 years as an active board member at Medial Mission for Children and founded DaVita’s Bridge of Life program. Both of these wonderful not-for-profit organizations serve in the most underserved and poorest countries in the world.
360 Behavioral Health has a very special patient population that deserves the best care possible. We are doing everything we can to make that a sustainable reality.
