Marissa Butcher knows the value of helping others, and has always wanted to work in a helping profession, specifically with children. Some of Marissa’s proudest moments have come from seeing a child do something for the very first time that their families were not sure they would ever do. She adds, “The families we serve become a part of our lives. As much as we are a part of their story they become a part of ours.”

Marissa completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at California State University, San Bernardino, with the intention to have a career as a marriage and family therapist. Once she learned about the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, Marissa decided to pursue, and earned, her BCBA credential.

Marissa’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her daughter and her family. She loves to go to Disneyland and the beach.
