Behavior Respite in Action
“Our choices show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.”
Savanna Beecroft knew she was making the right choice for her when she started working in the special-needs community. She shares, “People aren’t aware of the amount of work these families have on their plates. It is physically and emotionally challenging. Parents are expected go to work and then come home to even more work. Their 8-hour work day is 24/7.” Savanna reminds her team that they’re providing an “emotional lunch break” for families that rarely get any breaks.
Savanna earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and worked over five years in various special-needs classrooms before realizing that her passion was in behavioral services.
Savanna travels as much as her vacation time allows. Her goal is to visit as many countries as possible. She spends weekends reading and hanging out with her dog, Pippin.
