Timiza R. Farley, M.Ed., BCBA

Director of Clinical Services
California Psychcare

“Not every experience in life is a positive experience, but every experience in life is an opportunity to learn.”

Timiza Farley sees every experience working with children and adults with special needs as an opportunity to develop a deeper sense of purpose—to be driven, focused, committed and inspired from the inside out—and to ultimately be of service to others and make a real difference in their lives. She knows that every opportunity to learn is a blessing in disguise, and that continuing her personal and professional growth and development allows her to be her very best self.

Timiza has been working with people with developmental disabilities for more than 20 years. After earning her bachelor’s degree, she began her career working with children with autism in both home and school settings. After completing her master’s degree, she supervised in-home behavioral therapy programs while working as an inclusion specialist for a school district and teaching an autism preschool class. A unique part of Timiza’s professional journey included her work on an autism research project at Flinders University in Australia. When she returned to the states, she continued her work with children with autism and earned her credential as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Timiza is currently the Director of Clinical Services for California Psychcare in Murrieta, where she has the opportunity to coach and mentor her teammates who have also chosen this special field.

Timiza’s passion is her six children, with two in college and four at home. She loves repurposing items around the house, decorating and creating joy—and transforming her home into a place of warmth and love. Timiza also enjoys making lifetime memories by traveling to watch her kids compete in softball tournaments across California and beyond.
