Viridiana Vasquez, MA, BCBA

Director of Clinical Services
California Psychcare

“Today’s accomplishments were yesterday’s impossibilities.”

Viridiana Vasquez sees nothing as impossible and is passionate about serving children and adults with developmental disabilities. She encourages those she serves to remember that whenever things get difficult and you feel like giving up, just take a deep breath and know that tomorrow is another day to try again. Viridiana understands that everyone learns at their own pace, and she is inspired by seeing parents, family members and caregivers implement the tools she has taught them—those are real accomplishments. As a fluent Spanish speaker, she’s able to break through language barriers, which is a special gift. Viridiana considers herself fortunate because she’s been able to translate her passion into a career as she makes a difference in the lives of others as they make a positive impact on hers.

Viridiana attended University of California Davis as a pre-med student and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Chicano Studies. At UC Davis, she interned in a student-run clinic and worked at a preschool. She began her decade-long ABA career with California Psychcare as a Behavior Interventionist, then was a Program Coordinator before earning her credential as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In October 2019 Viridiana advanced to the position of Interim Director at the Santa Barbara office, and currently is Director of Clinical Services in Oxnard.

Viridiana loves spending time with her son, Mason, and husband, Henry. They enjoy traveling, going for ice cream, game nights, and watching Disney movies together.
